Here is what you need to know.

The $60,000 is divided into 16 scholarships spanning 4 regions.

Each region is guaranteed 4 scholarship winners.

There are four (4) scholarship themes:

  • Diversity Scholarship
  • Financial Wellness Scholarship
  • Future Women Leaders Scholarship
  • STEM Scholarship by Scotiabank

The four (4) regions are:

  • Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut
  • Atlantic Canada, Quebec
  • British Columbia, Yukon
  • Ontario

Students can access the scholarship from their myBlueprint Account (Tasks Section) or by clicking Apply Now on the Scholarship Landing Page.

Here is what it looks like in your myBlueprint Account:

Completing the Application Form is considered Phase 1 of 2.

For Phase 1, students have until May 3, 2024 11:59pm ET to complete the Application Form.

From that group of applicants, myBlueprint will randomly select an equal number from each region and theme for a total of 160 finalists.

For example, from the Atlantic Provinces & Quebec region, 40 students in total will be invited to Phase 2 (10 per scholarship).

The selected students (finalists) will be emailed by myBlueprint on or around May 6, 2024 and will be required to complete a Supplementary Application Form (e.g. essay questions).

Completing the Supplementary Application Form is considered Phase 2 of 2.

The response to the Supplementary Application Form is due no later than May 17, 2024 11:59pm ET.

From there, myBlueprint will judge the Supplementary Application Form responses by June 7, 2024.

myBlueprint will then email potential winners with an Acceptance and Release form (including a parent/guardian acceptance, if needed).

Students will have 72 hours to reply with the signed forms. Potential winners will receive a reminder email after 48 hours if they have yet to reply and submit the forms.

Scotiabank and myBlueprint will announce winners around June 30, 2024!

Winners simply need to send myBlueprint proof of enrollment and the scholarship $ will be sent directly to their post-secondary institution.
