Inviting Family Members — All About Me Portfolio

Within All About Me Portfolio, the only way for a parent/guardian to be linked to the students account, is for you, as the teacher, to invite them to create their account.

Luckily for you, it’s super easy!

All you have to do is:

Step 1: Log in to your teacher account

Step 2: From the Dashboard, click on the Class that the student(s) belongs to.

Step 3: Option A — If you are only looking to invite a family member for one student, find that student in your class list and click the three dots to the right of their name. From the Menu options, select ‘Add Family’.

Step 3: Option B — What if you are looking to invite family members for all your students at once. We have the solution for you!

Once in your Class, click ‘Class Options’ in the top right of your screen. Once clicked, you will be able to select ‘Add Family’ from the Menu options.

Step 4: Enter the email address of the family member you wish to invite and click ‘Add’!

The parent/guardian will now receive an email, prompting them to click the activation link to complete the account creation process (i.e., they will be asked to create a password for their parent account).

The parent/guardian can then go in and view their child’s work, and using their feed, even comment and provide feedback on the student’s work!

In addition to being able to log in to monitor and comment on student work, parents will also receive a weekly digest via email, of the student(s) All About Me activity from that week.
